Man Charged in
SE Portland Murder

Police charged
a suspect Monday with the murder of a Southeast Portland
man found dead in the garage of his home last week.
Danny Phillip
Flack, 33, was charged with aggravated murder in the death
of 65-year old Kenneth Patterson. Flack was also charged
with burglary in the case.
It's believed
Flack killed Patterson during a robbery, then stole's Patterson's
car, returning later to commit a burglary -- according to
police spokesman, Sgt. Brian Schmautz.
Patterson was
found in the garage of his home at 5230 SE 57th Ave. last
Wednesday. The state medical examiner said he died orf blunt
force trauma to the head.
Patterson's death
was the 21st homicide this year in Portland.
